Batter Up!

Wow I can't believe it's been so long since I last blogged, but we are having a fun busy summer. I was trying to get this done before 4th of July because what is more patriotic than baseball? but it wasn't to be. Hope you all had a fun holiday in the US. I ran in a hot 5K run, followed by a yummy pancake breakfast. And the firework show in our city was especially good this year.

Template Pack #1-8

I released Template Pack #1-8 today at Scrappin Digi Kreations, 40% off the first week! There are 8 templates 12x12 inches and in psd format. They are all in color but I've included a black and white preview in case that inspires you better.

I'm so excited about this layout. I actually made this specifically for a scrapbook for my in-laws that we add to as presents (or part of a present) for things like Father's Day, birthdays, Christmas, etc. (My parents have one too!) But I'll put this layout in my scrapbook too. So the kit I used was an Add-on freebie to "A day, a story..." by Choubinette Designs. What a beautiful kit!

And here is the template! I forgot to put in directions for the background photo. But if you import the photo right above the background photo layer, then press Ctrl G then it will take that shape and layer style, which is on Vivid Light I believe and the opacity is at 60%. Depending on your photo and your background paper you might need to play around with those settings. I also left the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer so you can have a sepia look if you want. I always appreciate the nice comments if you download!

Template #17

Well I had so much fun twisting a template I decided to try it again! Here's my orignal layout, using "April Showers" Minikit by me :)

And here is my new layout twisted 90 degrees to the left. I used my "Toothy Smiles" kit and the rope is from my "Deep Blue" kit. You can gets some good use from your templates and with a whole new look!

Articles of Faith Part 1

Well I'm starting a new project. You'll have to tell me what you think! I created a mini kit for the first 3 Articles of Faith. Hopefully I'll be able to finish all thirteen articles in 4 mini kits. By the end I'm planning on making a 5x7 brag book of all the Articles of Faith. I'm trying out a different style from the rest of my kits so do you like?
